WeWine is an online platform under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, “DSA”). This page sets out how to contact us and how to report content you believe is illegal.
Single point of contact
- For authorities (Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services — DSA art. 11): dsa@wewine.app
- For users and the public (DSA art. 12): dsa@wewine.app, or the help section of the app.
- Languages: Spanish and English.
Report illegal content
Anyone can report content on WeWine — you don’t need an account — using our notice form (DSA art. 16). Please include:
- Where the content is — a link, or the profile and the place in the app.
- Why you believe it is illegal.
- Your name and email address (not required for reports of child sexual abuse material).
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt, decide carefully and objectively, and tell you the outcome and how you can seek redress.
Decisions and appeals
When we remove or restrict content or an account, we send the person affected a statement of reasons (DSA art. 17). They can appeal free of charge through the app within six months, and the appeal is decided by a person. They may also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (DSA art. 21) or to the courts.
Threats to life or safety
If we become aware of information giving rise to a suspicion that a criminal offence involving a threat to someone’s life or safety has taken place, is taking place or is likely to take place, we inform the competent authorities immediately (DSA art. 18).
Supervision
The Digital Services Coordinator in Spain is the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC).
Review notes for counsel: confirm the notice-form route with the web app team; micro/small enterprise status (arts. 19 and 29); whether a legal representative or additional contact languages are needed.
