Most people who enjoy wine can’t name a grape — and they shouldn’t have to. WeWine starts from what you already know: the food, scents and moments you love.
Why we’re building WeWine
Choosing wine is often the least relaxed moment of a good evening: a long list, unfamiliar words, a quick guess. We want to replace that guess with confidence, and to turn taste into something people share — with friends, and with new people who like what they like.
People first, AI second
The heart of WeWine is people: friends comparing tastes, conversations, real places. AI helps quietly in the background — reading labels and menus, explaining pairings, answering questions — and it is always labelled as AI.
How we use AI
We use Google Gemini models to read labels and menus, explain pairings and power the sommeliers. We ask before your photos or questions are processed, we label AI clearly, and we never use AI to fake people, reviews or rankings.
Responsible by default
WeWine is for adults only. We never encourage drinking more, we make no health claims, and our sommeliers point people to help when it matters. Taste is the point — not quantity.
Valencia first
We launch in Valencia, in English and Spanish, with Russian and Ukrainian to follow. Local wine bars, local grapes, local lists — done properly in one city before the next.
