WeWine is a place to share taste and meet people. These guidelines apply to everything on it: profiles, photos, messages, reviews and anything you share.
Be kind
No harassment, bullying, threats, hate or discrimination — including on grounds of nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
Consent comes first
Don’t send sexual content or advances to people who haven’t welcomed them. If someone says no, stops replying or blocks you, that is the answer.
Adults only — zero tolerance for anything involving minors
WeWine is for people aged 18 and over. Any content that sexualises minors is removed immediately, the account is closed, evidence is preserved and we report it to the authorities.
Be yourself
No fake profiles, impersonation, bots or automated accounts. One person, one account. Badges that look official are never available to users.
Keep it about taste
No spam, advertising or selling — including selling alcohol to other users. No scams, and never ask anyone for money.
Drink responsibly
Don’t encourage excessive or rapid drinking, drinking games, drink-driving, or drinking by anyone under 18. Don’t make health claims about alcohol.
Respect privacy
Don’t share other people’s personal information or private messages, and don’t post photos of people without their permission.
Honest reviews
Only review places you have actually visited. No paid or fake reviews, and say if you are connected to a venue.
Nothing illegal
Illegal content is removed, and we cooperate with the authorities when the law requires.
How we enforce
Depending on how serious something is, we may remove content, warn, limit features, or suspend or close an account. A person reviews every suspension or ban. We tell you what we decided and why, and you can appeal from the app within six months.
How to report
Use Report on any profile, message, review or place; you can block anyone at any time. People without an account can use our notice form. We review reports within 24 hours. In an emergency, call 112.
